8 months old!!

Our little girl is growing up so fast before our eyes! She keeps on amazing us everyday. She is babbling like crazy, mama, dada, gra, ba,na, gra da, Once in a while we think she's really trying to imitate us by saying "Hi" The other day at Grammy's she was playing on the floor and their dog came up to lay down and I swear she said "doggie" She loves to have you ask her what certain animals say then make their sounds. She loves our cat, she'll be falling asleep and the cat will come to lay down by her and she pops that head up, looks for the cat, finds her, and has this huge adorable grin on her face.
We adore when we fall asleep with her during her naps and she wakes up drowsy, realizes she's still laying with you, makes eye contact and grins, she'll pat your face then lay her head on your chest. You just melt and feel your heart swell with love for this little person. Allison has been shaking her head no a lot lately, once in a while she'll respond by shaking her head appropriately. If you've noticed from recent post, she loves bath time!!!
This is her new "squeal" face
She loves getting to see her cousins. She loves to squeal and see how you react. She loves her jumperoo, she can get some serious hang time. She likes to take her fingers to her lips and make different noises. We've been working on the crawling, but still no interest, she'd rather roll and play..oh well in due time I guess....I'll just enjoy it while it last since I'm not chasing her around the house yet.
She's strictly on bottles now, I've been done nursing for about a week now, and it's going well. She's almost sleeping through the night. She been working on drinking from a sippy cup, She'll lunge for objects on the floor face first. She likes to fight you when you try to dress her. She's been working on giving kisses and high fives and is getting better and better!! Like I said she's growing up way too fast.
