Pumpkin Picking!
Sunday we took full advantage of the nice weather and went out to the pumpkin patch!! Allison didn't know what to think but she sure did have fun!
It was a little bright out, but we attempted anyway to try to get good pictures.

Allison's 1st Birthday Party!!
Saturday we celebrated Allison's 1st birthday party. I had mixed emotions going into it. I was happy but sad that the first year has flown by so fast. Her actual birthday isn't until Wednesday so I have few more days of her not being a year old to soak in. Allison did great! There was a FULL house and she got lots and lots of fun presents. Prepare yourselves for lots of pictures. Her theme was Ladybugs. I have an AWESOME sister-in-law who came over on Friday afternoon to spend with me and Allison of course helping me with these ladybug cupcakes and the sided dishes. It took us about 5 hours from start to finish but we got everything done! On the menu was Olive dip, Spinach and artichoke dip, Pumpkin crap, and cowboy caviar!!!

Cousin Katelynn came for the party a little tired so she took a quick cat nap.

My Awesome Husband did a great job on the Lady bug cake!! I've always told him he's great in the kitchen.

Time to open gifts!! Allison got so many toys that she doesn't know what to play with anymore!!
Then it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" Allison didn't blow out her candle but she started her attack by going for one of the black dots and she kind of poked around it for a while, Daddy and I had to help her dig into the cake.
She got the hang of it after a while and got it all in her hair and on her belly. Then it was time for a quick bath.

Turner Days 2009
Saturday Allison enjoyed her very first Turner Days!! We got up early and ate breakfast on the street. We had biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, coffee, banana bread, eggs and toast. Everyone in the family chipped in with something and it was super yummy!! We strapped Allison in the back of the Envoy so that she could get a good view of the parade. It was a little chilly but not excessively cold.

We got a little closer so that we could get some candy
Brings back memories every year seeing my old band instructors and the fact that they still play the same music from when I was in the band. The sad thing is that I still know how to play it.
Allison didn't make it through the parade she passed out about half way through.

We can't wait to go back next year!! Hopefully it will be a little warmer. The finally decided to come out at the end.

Daddy's Helper!
This post is a little late..But I had to post it it's too cute! 
Jeff's been busy putting in our new bathroom in our basement working non-stop. Notice Allison has her very own Home Depot apron!
And she was ready to work hammer and level in hand! Daddy was so happy Alli son was there to watch over things. I'll be sure to post pics after it's all finished!!!

Rub-a-dub-dub...
The girls are in the tub....and then Katelynn decided to go pee!!
While Allison was taking her bath Katelynn decided that she needed to use the potty,
well she didn't go and then she proceeded to get undressed and join her cousin in the tub to play..that's when she decided to "go".
