The run down

So it's been a while since I last blogged, and well I can't sleep. So, we came back from florida friday night july 25th at 7:30 to hear that my family has packed Jeff and I 's house up and that they drank all all beer, so we need to stop by the liquor store prior to heading home. So we get home find everything basically but our bedroom and larger bathroom items stored away on my cousin's enclosed traile r since it was supposed to rain saturday morning. Which don't get me wrong we greatly appreciated it, but if don't know me I'm a bit of a control freak about where My stuff and when I say My I mean everything in our home being organized and knowing where everything is. It's on the verdge of OCD. Seriously. So anyway, we were going to stay the night you know since it would be our last night in the house. But after seeing it all packed up and everything gone it just didn't feel like home so we decided stayed at my parent's house. Then Saturday afternoon we headed back over to the house to get a few last minute framed pictures, our food out of the refrigerator and to let the cleaning lady in the house, compliments of our Realtor. Then after 6:00pm we were officially HOMELESS!!! We hung around Saturday and Sunday I worked.

Monday Morning at 9:47am we are now no longer homeless and new home owners of a bigger home and mortgage payment yeah!!! So Jeff and I stop by the house. Jeff has this crazy idea that he could carry me, pregnant and over the threshold, but I didn't even let him attempt this, romantic in thought, but just picturing it no. So We walked in together a little overwhelmed, scared, happy, optimistic and somewhat ready for what lies ahead in our new home in a few months. The whole family comes over Monday night after my mom and sister have helped me clean the house, since it's been vacant since December or January and move us in. Thankfully by the good help of family the majority of our kitchen was unpacked and put away, our master bedroom for the most part was unpacked and put away, and boxes were in the correct rooms to be unpacked. We continued most of the week little by little unpacking and getting ready for Bo and Katherine's wedding on Saturday.


The NewlywedsJeff and Bo during the Dollar DanceMy good friend Mike, we've been friends since I was 4. Unfortunatly now he lives in Las Vegas so we don't get to see each other as much.
Friday of course was the rehearsal dinner, then Saturday we got up early so I could drop Jeff off at the grooms house, where the day only begun, the wedding was at 1:00 and the reception started roughly at 3:00, this is where Jeff really began to start drinking, it would soon come to bite him in the butt. Because Sunday we headed off to Nebraska Furniture Mart at 10:00am to do some serious shopping. Lets just say Jeff wasn't as excited to be looking at kitchen tables to begin with let alone with a hang over.

So we've been a "little busy" but Hopefully I'll be able to down load pictures later tomorrow and post those for ya.
